Who else is missing those long summer days right about now? I’m living for Sarah & Jake’s incredible engagement session at Jake’s family cabin in Hayward, Wisconsin. This Northwoods session in particular was so sweet and wonderful to document as Jake’s family is saying goodbye to their stunning cabin and beginning a new chapter.
The pair are quintessential Minnesotans. They spend almost the entire summer living at the lake with Jake’s family. Its where they have made endless happy memories from falling in love to learning new hobbies together. After discussing on how to create an engagement session that is unique and personal, their cabin became an obvious choice.
A choice that was so perfect, I couldn’t imagine photographing them anywhere else. Sarah & Jake were so natural in their element. We spent the evening photographing them at Jake’s picturesque cabin and then we slowly made our way to the family’s boathouse where we watched the sunset over the lake. Doesn’t it sound like a dream?!
