As we all know, the weather in the Midwest can be quite temperamental. If rain, snow or thunderstorms are in the forecast, I will reach out via email or text to discuss rescheduling options. In the peak season like fall, rescheduling may be difficult. My best advice is to aim for sessions in the summer when the weather is abundantly better, days are longer and schedules are flexible. 

Dates tend to book pretty quickly - especially in the fall when the days are shorter and weather is varies widely. The sooner you reach out, the more likely you’ll be able to have a prime date. 

To reserve your date, a contract and retainer are required. If something comes up and you need to reschedule, reach out and I’m happy to help.

If the Princess of Wales has trouble keeping her kids in check, then I think we’re all in good company. But honestly, even photographers need help during our photo sessions. We're not models after all. 

My aim for our sessions is to get a few great group shots. We’ll always start out with a formal because everyone is fresh and excited. Once we’ve captured those, its completely okay if the kids start letting loose. In fact, everyone will enjoy it more because that’s what we’re aiming for, real, genuine moments. 

After your session, you’ll receive a link to your online gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images. 

The gallery serves multiple purposes. It’s a great way to share your photos with friends and family. The gallery also makes ordering heirloom prints, albums, and canvases extremely straightforward and simple.
