Kaymi & Jaime and I connected over our connection to the Mayo Clinic. When we met, they shared with me their dreams of a sunny August day at the beautiful Mayowood Stone Barn where they would marry under their famous oak tree. But as most people know, Minnesota weather is unpredictable and this day ended up being a great example of how to pivot when it rains on your wedding day.
Looking at these photos, you’d never know it rained their entire day. Instead these two choose to trust in their team and enjoy the day with each other. They snuggled, kissed in the rain and danced their hearts out as they should have. Their team featuring Cassie West Events did an incredible job changing the setting of this wedding from an outdoor colorful summer wedding to a classically cozy reception.
