Greetings from Maui!
Freshly graduated husband and I dragged our jet lagged selves out of bed at 2:30 am to make the 2 hour drive up a very terrifying Haleakala summit and froze our butts off. But it was all worth it to watch the sun peak out through the clouds. Plus knowing 80 degree weather and beaches were waiting at the bottom helped. A lot.
