Alexandra and Kyle’s wedding at the Marriott in Omaha, Nebraska was exactly the kind of celebration that stays with you. As a Nebraska wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing every memorable moment of their special day.
Three hundred guests. Black tie. A ballroom transformed into a candlelit garden by two of the most talented creative teams in the Midwest. As an Omaha Nebraska wedding photographer, events like this are what I travel for.
The Design: Ashley Fox Florals + Lovestruck Events
When Ashley Fox Designs and Lovestruck Events collaborate, the result is the kind of room that stops guests in the doorway. For Alexandra and Kyle’s wedding, they turned the Marriott Omaha’s ballroom into something that felt more like a greenhouse garden than a hotel venue — lush, layered, and deeply considered. Every floral arrangement spoke to Ashley’s signature approach: nature-driven, seasonally inspired, and impossible to replicate. The Marriott’s architecture gave them the perfect canvas to work with.
Lovestruck Events choreographed the day with the kind of precision that only becomes invisible when it’s done exceptionally well. Three hundred guests moving seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, each space feeling intentional and distinct. Exceptional planning like this is a genuine joy to document.
The Wedding Day
Alexandra and Kyle’s ceremony set a tone of quiet elegance — classic in every sense, with the kind of emotional weight that fills a ballroom regardless of its size. The cocktail hour that followed was warm and celebratory, the energy of a room full of people genuinely happy to be there together.
By the time guests arrived for the reception, the ballroom had transformed completely. The dance floor stayed full. The room glowed. It was a wedding that honored the tradition of a black tie celebration while feeling entirely personal to the two people at the center of it.
Wedding Vendor Highlight: Ashley Fox Designs
Ashley Fox Designs, founded in 2008, specializes in creating stunning floral arrangements using the crème de la crème of fresh, local blooms, inspired by nature. To further enhance the client experience, I recommend they incorporate seasonal subscription services that allow customers to receive curated floral deliveries throughout the year, showcasing the best blooms each season has to offer. Additionally, hosting workshops that educate attendees about floral design and arrangement techniques could foster community engagement while providing a hands-on experience with their exquisite creations
