Pete and Izzie are a couple who truly loves being outdoors. They hike, bike, snowshoe…you name it and they will do it.
While Minnesota is gorgeous, Montana is where they fell in love. Pete has always been Bozeman and everything it has to offer. While Izzie’s family has called it home in the past. They both wanted something different than the quintessential Northern Minnesota back drop for their engagement session and ultimately decided that a trip to their favorite city in Montana would be more meaningful to them.
Unfortunately right before we were about to depart, Montana was suffering from devastating wildfires. But, a cold winter front swept in right before we left in September and surprised us all with a very early winter snow storm that blanketed the mountains and dropped some much needed rain in the area. While it wasn’t what they had initially envisioned. They ended up rolling with it! We ended up with breathtaking photos of an the snow capped mountains (while successfully avoiding bears, might I add!) Pete even had us hike up to a STUNNING waterfall that was near where he proposed to Izzie earlier that year.
Thank you Izzie & Pete for inviting us to Montana and showing us around Bozeman! We had the best time exploring the city with you and I personally cannot wait for your dream day in August. It’s a day that will be overflowing with love and happiness from everyone around you!
