How gorgeous is Taylor and Keith’s Duluth engagement session? These lovebirds have made Duluth their home together with their sweet pup Martha, so naturally choosing Glensheen Mansion in autumn was the best way to show off their city. Our original date we had planned to get together was reschedule due to intense fog. When I say intense, I mean “can’t even see 10 feet in front of you” intense. Ha! Thankfully their reschedule session gave us the most beautiful fall day to wander around the shores of Lake Superior and get to know each other a little better. We started off wandering the grounds and talking about their upcoming wedding that will take place in Duluth this summer. While walking the paths I learned about their love for Duluth, even though the weather is a bit moody, but more importantly their obsession with their pup Martha. (If you’ve ever met a Goldendoodle, you will also understand this obsession) 🙂
After we explored the Glensheen Mansion we ended our evening out on the beach casually walking around and reveling in the sunshine. 70+ degrees in October on the North Shore is virtually unheard of, so in typical Minnesota fashion, we could not stop basking in it. Of course, we had an epic sunset on the beach which provided the perfect backdrop for their session. Personally I always love sunset shots, they create such warmth and romance especially between these two! Isn’t the photo of them skipping rocks on the lake the sweetest? I will say this was definitely one of the harder sessions to leave. You couldn’t leave the weather or the couple!
Taylor and Keith, thank you for inviting me to Duluth (TWICE) to explore your sweet home. It was an absolute blast and Martha is an absolute treasure! I cannot wait for your wedding this summer!
