Colleen and Jason’s day was a beautiful whirlwind at Discovery World in Milwaukee. If you can’t tell by their photos already, they’re a couple that just exudes coolness, joy and love.
I have to say I love all my couples, but these two have a soft spot in my heart since they are also fellow high school sweethearts like my husband and I. We bonded during our consultation by swapping terrible cheesy photos of ourselves at Prom, when we thought we were the coolest kids around. Ha!
But when it came to their wedding day, the best way I can summarize it was a celebration. It was a celebration of not only them as a couple, but what marriage means to them. If you met their parents, you would understand why Jason and Colleen love being in love. Their parents are the ultimate #CoupleGoals who still after so many years of marriage and raising babies have A LOT of fun together and were honored during their reception by recognizing all the work and sacrifices it takes to make a beautiful marriage.
Speaking of beautiful marriages, Colleen and Jason couldn’t have kicked it off better with their PERFECT September day. The weather was cool and breezy and Discovery World on Lake Michigan created a stunning backdrop for guests to celebrate with them. With the city view of Milwaukee behind them, guests were treated to cocktails along the shoreline with a mariachi band serenading everyone. When the tent opened, everyone walked into Colleen and Jason’s dream wedding that included an epic dance party!
