Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of the entire experience. They're a chance for us to get to know each other on a more intimate level before your wedding day — and for you to walk away with gorgeous photos that have nothing to do with a veil or a venue. Just the two of you, beautifully documented.
Two months before your wedding, you'll receive a personalized guide and timeline so you arrive informed, relaxed, and ready to enjoy every moment.
Access to an exclusive guide of Amanda's trusted vendors — many of whom offer special discounts to her couples as a courtesy.
Always. When you book with Amanda Nippoldt Photography, you get me — on your engagement session, on your wedding day, and every step in between. I intentionally limit my calendar to a small number of weddings each year so I can show up fully for every single couple I work with. You'll never be handed off to an associate.
Will you personally be our photographer on the wedding day?
I keep my calendar intentionally small — just 15 weddings a year. This isn't just a business decision; it's a commitment to quality and presence. It means I have the time and energy to be genuinely invested in your day, to know your names and your story, and to deliver work I'm truly proud of. If my dates are filling up, I'd encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later.

Why do you love engagement sessions so much?
Engagement sessions are one of my absolute favorite parts of this whole experience. They give us the chance to get to know each other on a more intimate level before the wedding day — no timeline pressure, no wedding party logistics, just you two and me. You'll leave with gorgeous photos that have nothing to do with a veil or a venue, and you'll arrive at your wedding day already comfortable in front of my camera. That comfort shows up in every single image.
Do you travel for weddings?
I absolutely love to travel — my work has taken me to Paris, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, the Amalfi Coast, and beyond, and I'm always dreaming up the next destination. Travel is included for weddings within a 500-mile radius, which covers cities like Milwaukee and Chicago. For destinations beyond that, additional travel fees may apply and will be clearly outlined in your custom quote. If you're dreaming of a destination wedding, please don't hesitate to reach out — I'd love to hear about it.
