Patrick and Amanda’s wedding day was an absolute dream to document. When a Swiss beauty meets a southern Texas gentlemen and plan for a destination wedding in Zurich on July 4th weekend, you know great things are in the making!
Patrick and Amanda choose Switzerland for their special day because it was one of the few places that felt like home for her. After they got engaged in Zermatt, they knew right away that they wanted to share all of Switzerland’s beauty with their guests. Together, they chose a remote but dramatic venue for their wedding. Eventually they choose Uto Kulum, a quiet hotel perched on top of a mountain that overlooked Zurich and the towering Swiss Alps in the distance. Guests were spent the entire weekend mingling, sipping on local wine and celebrating Patrick and Amanda’s love for one another. They were even treated to some fondue after Amanda and Patricks intimate ceremony at Kirche Enge in the city below. The couple even treated their guests to fireworks as a belated celebration for the holiday weekend (and a nod their service in the military).
These two are one of those couples that just overflow with love for each other, their family and friends. Nothing was more evident of that then their wedding weekend.
